I think it could be insurance against the Judge issuing a unfavorable ruling for the perpetrators of this bankruptcy proceeding. In the event that the Judge finds that a proper assessment of CAWS assets should be conducted, and the issue is then fairly put to CAWS stockholders for a vote, they will they have the voting power also. I can think of no other reason, unless it is short covering to close out trades. I think my assumption of voting power makes more sense.
