This is news to me - I'm not disagreeing - I just had absolutely no idea who was responsible for defending the President in case of impeachment.

Assuming that the President is accused of perjury in the Jones case (or any of the other issues you referred to) as one of the articles of impeachment, do you think that Kendall will be involved in Clinton's defense? If so, how will the sensitive information you described be kept from him? If it is, how much help can he actually give? If Clinton is charged with criminal misconduct, who would defend him in court?
