since you use virtual. NEVER use the output to MS program is you use virtual... Glad you working...

Sure, Ken, your scan needs just the 3 lines -- the only requirement is that the input and output filenames be different.

I suggested setting output ="newshort.lst" and adding scan criteria in order to output info such as SharesFloat, SharesOut, and ShortInt for a spreadsheet and to enable sorting the qp2 view order by these columns.
