<CSCO stated recently that they currently do around 40+% of their business across the internet. They hope to boost that to 80%. This phenomenon has given Dell a huge advantage as competitors slash prices and give up profit margin while Dell keeps chuggin along.> the chugging will stop when others do the same stuff; selling over the www is no rocket science and at this point others can and will do the same thing; dell advantage is getting mkt presence much earlier in the corporate pipe-line with mail-order which did take-off because of the only reason of PC standardization. This advantage is now pretty much gone
