Why I own and will continue to own HDIE

Develops, markets and supports application integration software and provides application integration services.

EPS estimate .35
Market Cap 495 million
Estimated revenues 42 million
Current PE 121
Forward PE 69.5

The above information relates to NEON which I have compared to HDIE before. IMHO, the above numbers (1998 NEON) will stack up pretty close to 1999 HDIE numbers when the dust settles-revenues, earnings and market cap should be about the same. A 495 million market cap for HDIE equates to a stock price of $22.50 since HDIE has more shares outstanding than NEON. NEON is about $42 right now and they have lost money year to date although the estimate for the year is .35. Another difference between NEON and HDIE is that NEON has 7 analysts and HDIE only 1 which will change soon. NEON went from 9 to 42 this year. Can HDIE perform in a similar manner in 1999? Time will tell but I have a huge position and I intend to be around to find out. I am not going to miss another NEON particularly when I see no downside in owning a growing profitable company like HDIE at this price. IMHO of course
