>>> They already signed up most banks, and as far as billers they are leading the pack

There's something like 12,000 banks in the USA. They still have some work to do. --- 2,000,000 million billers, too!

>>>Update that weak web site of their's.

Would you want a company to handle your payments over the internet that has a average to below average web site?

> Benny(IMHO, and not to mention DELL, Intel, and others that have large buyback programs)

The difference between these companies and CKFR is that they all make boatloads of money. They need the shares to pay stock options that employees exercise. These guys did not have buy back programs 10-15 years ago. No, they pumped all their money (and then some) back into their organizations. It's all about growth.

- I understand where everyone is coming from. The old supply and demand model, etc... But, look at a couple of smaller companies that announced buy backs this year and took a nose dives (ABF and BTC).

1.5 Million is token, unless you plan on the stock going up....then add this element from the the Q's Press...-- CFO James S. Douglass takes on new role as Executive VP, Mergers & Acquisitions to focus on strengthening CheckFree's leadership in financial electronic commerce And what do you have?

The ability to do a deal or two? or...if they put 18 Million into stock today and next year it is worth 36 Million, and in treasury... we have an unrealized gain on marketable securities of 18 Million or the missing 20 cents a share plus some. More then one way to get 32 cents out of next years results....work harder then hell and make 12 cents...or buy some of this cheap stuff and make 50 cents altogether on paper.

50 cents can be hit on a duck walk.
