Paul,
Re -- K6-2 design win with Sun.

Will Jerry consider it as another tier 1 win.

<<Here's the SUN article - AMD has a K6-2 design win.>>

That is an excellent news for SUNW and AMD. SUNW retains its high power work station and at the same time using PC applications. Somehow I see this as the beginning of the AMD-SUNW and INTC-HWP battling for the 64 bit processor, K8-UltraSPARC vs. Merced.

Paul,

Re: "Yousef - Here's the SUN article - AMD has a K6-2 design win."

But the question is: Why isn't SUN using the 350mhz K6-2 ... Why use
the lower performing 300mhz K6-2 ??

"The SunPCi card will feature a dedicated 300 MHz AMD K6-2
processor and 64 MB to 256 MB of PC memory"

Is AMD having trouble producing the 350mhz part ??
