JT; RE:" FORD - Found On the Road, Dead... "

...Fix Or Repair, Daily ?

>Despite the huge option-spreads between bid and ask, the current market forces you to act as "3-day-trader"...

You and Berney are executing beautifully (^_^)

I don't know if Berney was doing CALLs, or throwing 1000s blocks at COMR (which is his style), but with these short-duration, extreme extent movements, it makes me look more to at/near-the-money strikes, and Hit-and-Run tactics.

>You did better selling already yesterday!

The NDX-100 kissed ~1300 today in a shooting star, so you and Berney's out today was actually more elegant. I wanted to dump the ADR's yesterday because I thought that the Yen and DEM were spiking in a climactic fashion. So, the ADR's didn't "spike"; rather, they opened lower today.

Though the Yen backed off (sharply, on their bank rescue effort, reducing the overnight money rate from 0.5 to 0.25%) the USD continues to be sold versus the DEM.

What kind of time-deposits, bondz, etc. do you use, Jurgen ?

With so much kapital cash-in-hand, I am becoming more interested in learning about cash management techniques.

-Steve

JT, Your trades are a work of art!!!

I cannot tell you how much I enjoy have the privilege to observe. As Steve noted, it is simply not in the cards for me to be able to play LEAPS at this point, since I'm trading in a retirement account.

Let me put forth a controversial issue that Steve touched on earlier for discussion purposes (and by no means intended to offend). I feel like the student challenging the Master.

I would suggest that lemmings LEAP in a bear market. To this student, a 3-day trade on a LEAP just doesn't make sense. It seems that your profits would have been multiplied by a factor on shorter term options? I only ask to see your response and whether you have considered the issue.
