>>>Thanks for starting HDIE Anonymous. I admit that I...<<< You should know better by now Andrew, never to get me started....hehehe 1. We admitted we were powerless over HDIE's rumors, and that our postings and money had become unmanageable. 2. Came to believe that a reality greater than our rumors could restore our postings and portfolio to common sense. 3. Made a decision to turn our HDIE over to Reality as we understood It. 4. Made a searching and fearless inventory of our portfolio and goals. 5.Admitted to Reality, to ourselves, and to another investor the exact nature of our silly expectations. 6.Were entirely ready to have Reality remove all these silly expectations. 7. Humbly asked Reality to remove our greed and hype. 8.Made a list of all instances of hype and became willing to make adjustments. 9.Made direct adjustments in such instances of hype and silly expectations wherever possible, except when to do so would injure the stocks or investors. 10.Continued to take portfolio inventory, and when we were hyping silly promptly admitted it. 11.Sought through due diligence and inner calm to improve our conscious contact with Reality, seeking only knowledge of Its will for us and the funds to carry that out. 12. Having had a fiscal awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to post this message to investors, and to practice these principles in all our trades. To any actual Twelve Step Recovery people on the thread: I am just having a moment of levity here. I am not ridiculing the Steps or any recovery program that uses them. Personally, I shall be forever grateful that the real Steps, and the people who had experienced personal transformation by using them, were available to me long ago when I desperately needed them. It is interesting to note that Dr Alexander Elder, psychiatrist, author of Trading For A Living, and successful trader himself, suggests the importance of aligning oneself with the wisdom of the Steps as one enters a relationship with the market as a trader or investor. I remain a HDIE long term investor. I have only decreased the size in order to be able to more realistically trade elsewhere as I see the opportunities. Each one of us have personal goals and style, which of course is part of the beauty of our thread.
