Russia Stabilizes On the good news front, Yeltsin has decided to nominate Yevgeny Primakov for PM. He reportedly has a good relationship with the United States (read -- he is a known entity that we can work with) and he was on the Communist short list of acceptable candidates and should be approved by the Duma.
