I'll have to look for a copy. TPV is interesting. Here is a link to the International Thermophotovoltaics home page. My guess is that this company will eventually do well. Hopefully, it can weather the international economy recession. Today, the stock is hitting it's 52 week low. It seems to have a lot of company in that category.

My take on the article in Scientific American is that commercial possibilities are quite a long way off but that DARPA and or NASA funds may trickle into SPIRE and Techogen. They may benefit in the long run if the research results in a feasible commercial operation. Meanwhile SPIRE will have to limp along with smaller grants from government.
