>>If it does make it on the internet, then Starr's office or Congress will really have to answer for it. The Report contains confidential grand jury information--and the Attorney General is already investigating leaks from the OIC.

Wrong. Congress can release everything, including the grand jury testimony.

Plenary power and all that.

It'll be interesting to see how Starr navigates these shoals.

He doesn't have to. Switching metaphors on you, Atlas just shrugged.

In fact, I believe it was a Democrat that was suggesting the report once Congress had it's look be released on the internet. The point was better to let the American people have the full story rather than selected leaks. Obviously once it is available for all of congress to see, the leaks will come fast and furious. He felt it would be better for Clinton to have everything out in one fell swoop. Once the report goes to congress, Starr is not the controlling authority of the report, there will be no "shoals" for him to navigate. bp

Get real. The rule 6(e) does not apply Congress. The bulk of the report is going to be posted to the Internet in the next few days, the rest will be leaked.

Nothing in the report will remain secret for long, nor should it.
