Does it really matter who Gates and Moeffi tell their key competitor is. Why do you think Moeffi is saying 2.20 is a reasonable number when wall street is expecting 2.15? He is trying to calibrate analysts to the upside so that Microsoft doesn't surprise by way too much. Print and save this message if you want, but we will see MSFT report 2.50 to 2.67 a diluted share for FY99. With possible PE trading range of 50 to 72, we are looking at min of 125 and upto 192 on this stock. Make no mistake. This got to be a core holding. johnd
