When he does finally resign there may actually be a relief rally. If he doesn't resign soon, it could be worse.

I largely agree, though I think that, when he resigns, it will cause a sharp sell-off, but a short-lived one (like yesterday in reverse). Then it will be all over and perhaps cause a rally. I don't think that he will resign within the next few weeks though. If he tries to fight it, that would be far more damaging to the market and the security of the West.

They are just saying on the news that Starr's report will be kept under lock and key. For how long? Two hours, half a day? Since when has Congress been able to keep something secret?
