Herb it won't stop , now its PC Data touting AAPL's sales success

" Preliminary data from market research firm PC Data indicates that ,b>Apple's iMac took the No. 1 spot in retail computer sales for August. "

Must be temporary insanity .

Topping that , Mac the Knife thinks Mr J is steping outside of the the 4-walled product line box Rich mentioned to intro the 400mz G3 PowerPC MPU at January's MacWorld:

" ...Apple continues to pump up its Power Mac line ... According to the elves residing in the Knife's neighborhood hollow tree, January's Macworld Expo in San Francisco may prove to be the launching point of a poppin'-fresh 400-MHz Power Mac G3. "

Translation, unit growth with the iMAC then profits with the MPU and its JAVA OS.

Keep the faith cider man,
Jim K.

<<Perhaps the channel stuffing tactic is designed to boost headlines that in turn boosts confidence that in turn boosts demand that in turn boosts greater headlines. Whew! Could this be the tornadic theory of market share grabbing?>>

Sounds more like a fusion reactor.
