Now if you care to nitpick, if a translation says someone has become a king at 8 and another at 18, who cares when the story has no bearing in any lesson. You really don't see the significance do you? The small error demonstrates a mishandling of copying from the "original texts." This means that it is very possible (and likely) there were "other parts" that were miscopied. And while the miscopied part I show you may not involve something major, a major thing may be miscopied and you not even know it. If a Bible writer accidentally (or purposely) substituted one name in an area of the Bible, he could literally alter an entire religion (and this actually occurs at one point in the book of Deuteronomy). The small errors are evidence of the possibility of larger ones we don't know about. Now myself, I would never believe in the Qur'an if it had one error. If it had one inconsistency, if it had one small minor flaw, I would not believe in it. Because God's words aren't changed. They are preserved as God promises they will be (Isaiah 40:8). There's no excuse for an error or mishandling. If there's an error, that part of the Bible simply cannot be from God. Note: You never explained the Deuteronomy reference to Muhammad. Remember? I asked you about it and you dodged that one for awhile. If you've forgotten the verse, among other things, says that any false prophet will be killed (as a sign from God that he's not a true prophet for the people to know) and that a true Prophet will have miracles and true prophecies (guess what? Yep, the Qur'an is full of prophecies that were made and most have occurred, such as the invention of television, man reaching the moon, the expansion of the universe, etc.). I eagerly await your reply, Peace be Unto You
