not my final decisions... but SF -4 1/2 and Ravens +6 1/2 look like my early picks. Has Foley ever won a game much less than win one by 7 points? And just who is Trent Green? KC +4 1/2 and Giants +1/2 are possibilities. KC is awfully good to give 4+ points too. Oakland is pathetic. Laron

blank.... to follow up my 5 star blowout last week (Seattle Seahawks). i am going with the Tennessee Oilers -7 1/2. the Oilers are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games. while the Chargers are 1-5 on the road ATS. also the Chargers fired their offensive coordinator after only one game. look for possible confusion on the offensive side of the ball. also Tennessee will be playing at their new stadium in front of a sell out crowd. look for Tennessee to cover the number against the San Diego Chargers. BTW BLANK - i've also been buying TZA in the 5's. enjoy the games.... paul.

Pick - Week 2 Pittsburgh -11 1/2 over the Bears Wannstadt had weeks to prepare for the Jags and only one week to prepare for the Steelers. (Wannstadt actually has a respectable opening day record but is 0-5 in his second games) I see Kordell & Bettis having huge days. This one will be over by halftime. The Bears still suck

I notice they refer to the Jets as "New York" and the Giants as "New Jersey". I haven't heard from you Jints fans about this slap in the face. The Raiders opened as ~4 point favorites against the Jints (I think it did?), but the smart money seems to know what a joke that is. The person who picked the Falcons, I think it will pan out, but I'm too scared of picking Ray Rhodes to get blown out 2 straight weeks. He usually can get the troops fire up. My first pick is Carolina -4 1/2 at the Hobert-less Saints. Billy Joe rankings: Hobert - good, Toliver - bad. My second pick is San Fran -4 1/2 at the Skins. Tom
