Yes, it may be a bore issue short-term, but it is a BIG issue with me right now. I am doing what I can to keep this thread informed of what I know and how the industry is shaping up. Others have picked up the slack since my schedule has gotten busier. The stock price is definitely suffering from WINR's ineptness right now.
I have heard all the same things from Holmes that is being posted here by others. The bottom line is this. We think WINR's system is operational, but who the hell knows. We are investors, and CFG is public relations. Unless anyone of us go inside for the story, right now, who knows if we are really operational. We were supposed to be operational in the "first" of July, but that was bumped two months, so that the debit card could be ready sooner than expected which was supposed to be a good thing. With each day that passes, we are closing in on October, which is when the debit cards were supposed to be ready originally(per CC in June). If we are not doing business by October(God forbid), what the hell did we save? I will try to dissect systematically here. 1. interBet. Why are they not operational themselves? They were supposed to be operational in mid July. Now they are beta testing their own software. What have they been doing for the past 2+ months. This BS about interBet is not sitting well with me. I do not know if interBet is screwing with us and WINR is too stupid to see this, interBet signed an airtight contract for the right to be the "first" to use WINR in such a way that interBet could lay the wood to WINR if WINR told them now to get lost, or I do not know what.
2. TISS. Supposedly TISS has interfaced with WINR, but WINR can't start to process transactions until the interBet situation resolves. How long is TISS willing to wait? Well, they waited for the last 10 months, so a little longer is probably fine. This contract was supposed to generate 10-15 million for WINR, which BLOWS away the expected revenues from interBet from what we know. Perhaps interBet has something up their sleev that is enticing WINR, but it is as speculative as WINR itself is at this point. I say go with the proven TISS. Have we received any money from TISS? I can't get a straight answer from CFG now. I am supposed to get an answer from Holmes tomorrow, since Skinner has not returned my e-mails in the last several days. I am sure he is busy, and he better be by god.
3. WINR. Are they operational? Who knows? We could be getting screwed around here. Think about it. We are not processing transactions, so we should look at this as if we are not operational at all. We have interfaced with the banks. Did it really take four months to do this? What was going on from May 6th to now. Was WINR anywhere near being operational the first of July? I am guessing no. We were supposedly testable as of July 30th. Who the heck has been testing it? Surely not interBet. They should have been testing this damn thing with interBet last month, not now. This means interBet continues to toy with WINR. Why didn't WINR see this coming last month?
Great product, but I am NOT impressed with how WINR has been handling this situation. WE have been patient for the past four months.
Skinner tells me that over 2.5 years of hard work are finally coming together. 2.5 years? Is this something that I should be impressed by? The past is the past, but come on. 2.5 years just to get the deal with the CMS, CLT, and the rest? Maybe he is working hard. We have been giving him and his father the benefit of the doubt. There have been some naysayers, but the naysayers are just blowing smoke instead of giving hard facts for the other side. I am pro WINR, but it is time to face the facts of what the heck is going on here. It is not to say that it is time to sell and move on, but you all should be writing Skinner and calling CFG, if you give a damn, to indicate your displeasure with what has been transpiring.
Someone asked who is selling. Those selling are those who were expecting BIG news on Aug.31st, which we all agree now was a BS press release, and then couldn't figure what the heck it was actually saying. We have been slowly declining because WINR hasn't been delivering and hasn't been completely honest with us. Are we to assume that interBet is anywhere near completion? Are we to wait till the end of September before anyone is using WINR? Heck no. I am sure some were expecting activity, but nothing has happened in the way of substantial news for WINR, except that they said they are operational which we can't confirm because they are not processing any transactions. Yes we could send cash and use a debit card. Someone please tell us if you actually do this. If not, then who is to say we are up. Thus, the statement is this: There is nothing sustaining this share price right here, right now. This could change tomorrow with the appropriate press, but right now, I do not blame anyone who is selling. For the record, I am holding my shares watching them lose value. I guess others feel like I do--> you realize there is great potential still even though WINR is floundering right now. At some point, we may have to start questioning our patience if WINR continues this path, because you can wait too long for something to happen. If WINR keeps messing around, are we better off somewhere else?
In summ, I am not pleased with the management of WINR. There is so much potential here that it is oozing at the seems. We know the sky is the limit for the industry. WINR has the right system for the industry to flourish GREATLY. Let's get this party started already.
If I were an analyst, and I am not professionally, I would change my short-term and long-term rating from a strong buy all the way to a HOLD. We now need some answers this month before we can be as enthusiastic about this company as we have been. It has always been a speculative investment--> that has not changed a bit. However, my strong buy unspoken rating is no longer warranted until WINR can start delivering. I have been trying to sell a bunch of my friends to invest here, but they have stayed away for the exact reasoning I have detailed, a little, above. They see the POTENTIAL, but they have seen little meat to sink their teeth into.
With no information in the near future, I see a continual drop in price. It will continue to do so until WINR can give us something.
I have done all I can to bring this story straight. The product and the industry will be great. WINR is just not seizing the opportunity like I had hoped they would have at this point. Things are moving WAY too slow.
I believe it would be wrong for me to tell you all is well when I do not feel that way at all. I think there is trouble. What kind of trouble I do not know. Again, we could be laughing at what is happening now in a month or a year, but I am not laughing too loudly right now. The heck with long term. This is here and now.
These are truly the days of growing pains. I do want to live through them, but I need WINR to Show us something!
Good night all.
