<<Kendall says "No impeachable offenses">>

So are we going to see Kendall and Daniel Patrick Moynahan duking it out on Crossfire?

"President Bill Clinton's
lawyer said there was no basis for impeachment in the information
delivered to U.S. Congress on Wednesday by independent
prosecutor Kenneth Starr. "

Somebody want to explain to me how he knows that only, what, four hours after the report has been delivered and before any body in Congress has opened the report or boxes?

Do you suppose Kendall has developed sources within Starr's team and is getting his leaks? Would certainly add credibility to the theory that Kendall or other Clinton forces have really been doing the leaking all along and blaming Starr's team. I put nothing below Clinton (except being honest).

<<Also can somebody tell me what happened with Republican Burton admitting to an illegitimate child or something?>>

Apparently, during a period when Burton and his wife were having marital difficulties, Burton had an affair that resulted in the birth of a child. This was in the early 80's. Burton and his wife made up (she knew about the affair prior to his recent admission of the issue)and the affair ceased. Burton has been paying child support all along. The other lady is now married, and her husband is aware of the circumstances.

<<Kendall says "No impeachable offenses">>

No kidding - he's Clinton's lawyer. He's not likely to come out with a statement admitting Clinton is guilty. I wouldn't give that comment any more weight than I would one from Starr saying "Lots of impeachable offenses".
