Doug, I just got home and read your blow-by-blows. I was distracted all afternoon by this (no net connection in the car!) so thanks for your posts. And HIP-HIP-HOORAY!

Just called the launch hotline again. They have changed the message, it now says ".....and began acquisition at 1:55pm". An earlier version of the message said "....the satellites were acquired at 1:55pm". I hope this does not mean there are problems.

Waiting for that press release.

Tried to add to my Globalstar position post-launch via Instinet and
bid up to 19.5 with no offers---I think this bodes well for tomorrow's
open, regardless of the Starr report.

What a long road this has been, lately, with the manic depressive market and the mistaken identity link to the lame I*. Although I've done nothing but fret and buy GSTRF shares all month, I'll really executing on my own plan this evening---a good steak, a few great bottles of drink, a nice long sleep. Hoping others on the thread
make time to celebrate.
