Look, we're trying to have an intelligent, but spirited, debate here. Could you take your crude comments elsewhere?

I am a white American. Normally that doesn't mean didly squat. I am also a Muslim. This gives me a unique insight to how members of some other nations are reacting to this. Its kind of a catch twenty two, but here goes.
1) The perception that many of my foreign friends have of their leaders is that if the leader sees something they like, they will just send some soldiers to take it (including women). No one would dare raise a suspicion in public about the leader, so this kind of scandal would never come up.
2) On the other hand every one is free to point the finger at this situation and say, "you see what those immoral Americans are like, tsk tsk."

My personal opinion is this. Any of us who believe Clinton is remorseful can feel free to forgive him completely or to what ever extent we want to. So what, to me that is not the issue.

If someone abused one of my daughters then lied to me about it and I later found a way to forgive them, I would not follow that by hiring the person as a baby sitter. Clinton is in a position of public trust.

Whether I forgive him or not, I don't want him to lead my nation because I CAN'T TRUST HIM; not because he has marital difficulties. Leaving all other aspects of moral judgement out I don't like the social contract of going along with someone who lies to me just because he is the most powerful man in the world. In fact for that reason alone I require trust in exchange for support. There are 5 billion other people on this world. Anyone who thinks we have no other options is thinking in tunnel vision.

The other questions on this board are of no concern to me. Do what is right, because it is right...Period. Bill, STEP ASIDE.

You are truly a misanthrope.
