It is unfortunate that you haven't listened to people who work in the IP business. Here is a question for you: If the answer is 2, is 1+1 the -ONLY- solution?

Is there only -ONE- patent on handoff? How about -ONE- patent on Analog to Digital Conversion? How about -ONE- patent on audio encoding?

The answer to those questions is: NO! Just b/c the Q thought up a system/method of solving a problem, doesn't mean that Ericy/Noka/MOT/Lu/etc etc can't do it.

It appears that the Q is unwilling to license their IP to anyone given their stance.

I do not know that much about licensing, either. But, as I recall, Rambus was asking 1 to 2 % of gross sales and companies balked. I think they (Rambus) were asking for a couple million on top of that too!
