Please tell us all why there should be any LEDs inside a computer chassis! For the same reason one would make a computer case transparent. As you yourself point out, most computers include some leds, such as harddrive activity and power on. So why not add a few inside an iMac just for looks? <tongue in cheek?Have you ever actually opened a computer and looked inside before, Alomex? You mean they can be opened? I had no idea!Hate to disappoint you, but computers have come a long way since 1960's sci-fi television, and rows of useless LEDs to represent computer power simply aren't needed these days. Oh really? I thought computers had to have LEDs. Please RoyBatty, share some more of your wisdom with us. <end tongue in cheek>You're the only one I know or have read about who's seen an iMac in person that wasn't impressed by its looks. Yeap, I'm quite aware of that, but this crowd is made mostly of iMac lovers. So I hanged about to see what was the reaction from other customers to it: mostly indifference. I pass the facts as I saw them. You can do whatever you want with them. Indeed, they seem to contradict good sales reports coming from everywhere else, but still that is what happened at that store. What else can I do, make up a different story in spite of the facts? Yes, the mouse is small, and this has already been noted ad nauseum here and elsewhere. Your point being? I don't see you complaining when somebody else reports sold out iMacs in yet another location, even though we had quite a few reports of those. Me thinks you are sore because I panned the iMac look. I'm sorry to spoil the party, but I simply was not impressed, even though I had very much liked the photos from MacWorld .
