EARNINGS DATE: Word today is that TAVA is leaning heavily to September 23 to release earnings. There seems to be no "loose talk", so the fact that Hanifen still expects TAVA to meet its estimates is the best guide we have. The little that I've heard is more focused on what the revenues will be than on the EPS.

>> there is the Y2K problem and there is TAVA .... <<<

yes. of course. my point is that embedded systems need to be checked and tested to verify reliability. waiting to see what doesn't work and then trying to fix it while various groups of people endure the reality of whatever glitch is created is not acceptable.

since TAVA is in the embedded chip arena of y2k work, it is only natural to think that their services should be maxed out in this verification process. it is then a bit of an investor leap of faith (based somewhat on company pr/info) that the y2k work will help leverage core business activity well beyond y2k.
