You have the wrong idea about Jihad. Some tyrants missuse the term to get their selfish needs met. Jihad simply means trying to remove what is bad and trying to bring goodness into the world. In order for their to be a true Islamic Jihad, it would have to be supported by the whole community of Muslims. It is forbidden, for example to target innocent people, especially women, children and old people to advance a military objective. Terrorism and compulsion is forbidden in Islam. Of course there are violations of the faith and practice by those professing to be Muslims. The Quran wouldn't mention them as violations if there was no evidence of them in the world. You don't attach the principles of Christianity and all Christians to the stupid behavior of one or a few Christian extremists or to your self because you live in a "Christian" culture. I love my American culture and would hate living in the places you mentioned. I do not relate to the wild comments, "great satan," made by a person on the other side of the planet just because we are both Muslims; Any more than I relate to the comment you just made, just because we are both Americans. I know for example that Baghdad is an enemy of America and thus mine. I can not justify for my self, however the number of deaths of innocent children and old people, which is now over 4 million and is a direct result of the sanctions we have imposed on Baghdad. This is because we are worried that they have the capacity to develop a weapon of mass distruction. Give me a break we need to look in a mirror. Besides they can't even develop the capacity to feed or medicate themselves and these sanctions have done nothing but martyr them for the rest of the Arab world. You are my enemy because....
