Has anyone read the story on the Merlin Project Ashton has underway on their WEB site?
Interesting reading and most probably will be the closest comparable to the ADP.
They've gone ahead with the project on the strenght of 5 diamondiferous pipes, open pit with an average grade of 39.75 cpht!!
These pipes graded 16.7, 22.3, 33.1, 68.4 & 112.6 cpht and total tonnes processed is 4,216 tons. Valuation at 35% gem quality ranges from US$41 - $140/c.

Seems to me that if the ADP already has about 16cpht, we're just about 1/2 way there, yes-no?

DJ - My account is with the Greenline US office, and I was surprised to get the Quarterly since I haven't asked for them and I know that Canadian companies aren't required to send them to us southerners, AND since ACA tends to keep info to itself. OTOH, since quarterlies usually put everything in the best light possible, maybe they like everyone to have them. I bet yours is in the mail.

Pete

Fri 11 Sept 98 News Release
See Pure Gold Minerals Inc (PUG) News Release
Mr. Donald Sheldon reports
The company has acquired all of the property interests that are held by
Blackrun Ventures Inc. in northern Alberta. The interests in these
properties vary from 25 per cent to 50 per cent in a total of approximately
3.4 million acres, and are primarily situated in the Buffalo Hills area in
northern Alberta. To acquire these interests, Pure Gold will make cash
payments and will assign all its interests in the South African alluvial
diamond joint venture with Thabex Exploration Ltd. announced in Stockwatch
May 28, 1998 to Blackrun Ventures Inc.
Pure Gold's management considers the potential of defining a commercial
diamond deposit within the Buffalo Head Craton to be above average.
Withdrawing from the South African alluvial diamond projects will enable
Pure Gold to focus entirely on its exploration efforts in Alberta. The new
interests acquired from Blackrun Venture Inc. in Alberta will be offered to
Pure Gold's joint venture partners, Ashton Mining of Canada and Alberta
Energy Corp., on a pro-rata basis.
