I mean only good in mentioning that proxy solicitation in the absence of filing with the SEC is against the law.

At least, I think that is true judging by plenty of talk on the subject at 192.41.8.196, although I think much of the conversation has been archived there.

In short, a Phil Goldstein of Opportunity Partners was sued by a Closed End Fund for proxy solicitation on the forum there.
