Bruce: Thanks for posting. Kemble and many others on this thread are full of insights and inspiration. They have motivated me to take a LARGE position in DELL. It has been a wise move and I'm enjoying the ride. I have more confidence in DELL today then I ever did. Notice how DELL has not sold off like many other stocks (it is less than 15% off its high). DELL is the highest quality stock in its category and its momentum is INCREASING. I now have over 70% of my long term holdings in DELL and I'm sleeping very well. Recently I have sold my stock in excellent firms like MRK and MSFT in order to buy more DELL. IMHO, DELL's risk/reward profile is better. The top performing Janus 20 fund has over $1B of its $10.5B in DELL. A few days ago SG Cowen Securities issued another report on DELL. Here are some highlights: -We Maintain a Strong Buy on DELL. -"We look for the gap between DELL and competition to widen, dramatically." -Business Momentum is Strong in all key markets. -"Bottom Line -- DELL remains a terrific story....it is extending its business model to the next level by aggressively leveraging web-based direct infastructures.....DELL is poised to generate continued market share gains." Hmmmmm.....The "smart" analysts and fund managers understand DELL's true potential. Just Buy and Hold DELL -- it will be the best thing you could ever do as an investor. Forget about market gyrations. Bet big on a company that can EXECUTE better than any competitor. Good Evening Everyone. -Scott

Bruce, Hi!!! Thanks for the kind comments...teachers figure that if a Fizz Ed guy can do this... :o) Got one of my best friends into Dell tonight...why he waited it beyond me...spend the vast part of this evening giving him the Dell speech and then getting him started through a discount broker...long ago I stopped counting...but, even with this Dell drought I have found it to be easier and easier for people to start buying Dell...12 in the last two weeks no problem...three alone where I fix my truck...you know bringing the STS in for an oil change and the Dell plates reading: BUY DELL kinda gets things started... Keep getting other teachers into Dell..most of the ones I have convinced realize that the company is the antithesis of education...so they invest rather quickly... Best, kemble
