Hi threadsters,
If BEA proves up a deep Devonian Crossfield gas strike (>20mmcfd allowable), this will truly be a situation which will open up the entire area. Discoveries like that attract big bucks and big players. If this comes to pass, the juniors in this area will be on many large company and broker "dance cards". I have all my fingers and toes crossed.
regards,
teevee

Hi Jim,

Yes, we all knew that the 7-25 well was being deepened. But, what we learned today was that they have now reached total depth with that deepening and they have discovered another HUGE gas reservoir, this one in the Devonian Crossfield formation !!).

The photos appearing on the Bearcat website are of the Esso 2-21 well which was drilled this winter/spring and discovered a MAJOR Mississippian Turner Valley reservoir. These photos were taken after the recent/latest acid job on that well and demonstrate a commercial production rate (You should know that the well was also producing ~1,000 bopd at the same time that it was making the ~6 MMCF/d of gas shown in these photos !!).

Good luck Jim.

Later,
grayhairs

Jim, Read grayhairs posts re rumors on the street in Calgary. Incidentally, my UC Bearcats got their butts kicked this weekend by Tulane for the third year in a row.
