There is one "after hours" that counts though: and thats all the market noise from around the world!!!! (I agree not specific stocks, however)

I'm amazed this stock is still falling. I thought it would have bottomed yesterday. It's starting to look like AFCI II, which is surprising given the fact that the impending buyout should put a bottom under this. But this market hates bad news (in stark contrast to the first six months of the year; the pendulum seems to have swung equally the other way), and CIEN has certainly delivered a steady stream of it lately. I would not touch this unless you are using money you can afford to lose.
