Gersh, Tell me about it!

As is well-documented on this thread, I bought GM puts in June for $1. My end of June brokerage statement showed that they were worth $3.625. Silly me, being a greedy SOB at the time, let them expire in July totally worthless.

Now I do it different. When I buy an option, I immediately enter a sell order. It seems to take a lot of the emotion out of the equation.
