Clinton role model for kids:

newsday.com

paragraph 2:

Under pressure from Democrats and Republicans to express clear contrition, the president said he wanted once more to be a role model for the nation's children -- and didn't want his personal behavior to darken his public record.

(near the bottom:)

The president said his latest words of contrition were inspired by his first Florida stop at Hillcrest Elementary, where he said he shook the hand of a boy who reminded Clinton of himself as a child.

''He was bigger than the other students and kind of husky. He said, 'Mr. President, I want to grow up to be president. I want to be a president like you.'
''And I said -- I thought, I want to be able to conduct my life and my presidency so that all the parents of the country could feel good if their children were able to say that,'' Clinton said.

Wherever he traveled Wednesday, he faced reminders of his troubles. ''Resign You Swine'' read one demonstrator's red-white-and-blue poster near the school. ''You're fired,'' was the message across from the Marriott. And in Miami, a plane buzzed overhead pulling a banner that read, ''Resign Now!''

****************************************

The arrogance of this sociopathic megalomaniac is almost unbelievable! After what he has done, he still wants to be a role model for my children?????

Someone else has said that he is a great and gifted orator. Could be, but he has no moral compass, he does not right from wrong, and anyone in his condition, in his position is VERY dangerous. (Adolf Hitler is a prime example) He will do (has done) anything to anyone to accomplish what he wants to get done.
To ask for forgiveness and accept responsibility for his actions is not enough. He must also accept the consequences for his actions.

This is a MAJOR flaw in the American social fabric and it goes to the very highest office in the land. Very few of us are willing to accept personal responsibility and consequences for our actions. The courts and the lawyers slap wrists and say "it is not your fault" so, we continue. The price we are paying is measured by how many of our children are lost to drugs, murders, "accidents" by drunk drivers that are still driving.......

Our forgiveness will not fix the problem.
His apology will not bring back our children........

It's apparent Clinton lied about the incident. He stumbled in the second part about his response. He started out with "I said" then corrected it to "I thought". The former can be contradicted by people that were there. The latter cannot.
