Jeff, excellent point about retail/oem strategey and selling Banshee retail. Scott Sellers has stated that their strategy is to push the technological envelope for retail and to package yesterday's technology for the OEM's. This allows higher pricing/margin for discriminating consumers who will buy the latest technologies. Gives time to tweek the technology and reduce production costs. Once competitors begin to catch up, they re-package the technology for the OEM's using a higher volume/lower cost model. Naturally, they have to prove themselves to the OEM's but if they can successfully implement this approach, consider the financial benefits! Joe C.
