They aren't getting their money's worth outta this free software yet, and they never will!

I completely disagree. Web browsers today are like OSs in the early 80s. Whoever gets dominant market share will monopolize the computing platform for the next 20 years. If giving away the browser, or even the source code (which is what the Mozilla project is--Netscape published their source code and various developers around the world are collaborating on the next browser, which they named after Netscape's mascot "Mozilla" for copyright reasons), can give Netscape/Mozilla or Microsoft dominance, it will pay off in spades.

Of the two, of course, it's much better for us if Netscape wins. Especially with this open source code project, because it means that we consumers will not be beholden to a monopoly for our computing needs.

The Mozilla 5 project is the result of the public release of Netscape's source code. As you may know, Netscape decided to stop charging for its browser, and also decided to release the source code to the public so that others may work on it, similar to the Linux project. Mozilla 5 will be the first release of that project, and new source code for it is now being published nightly for download.

There is a commercial browser out there, it's called Opera and costs about $30. I've read good things about it so far, but I think it's only currently available for the PC, with Mac OS, BeOS, Linux, and other ports currently under way. Sorry, I don't have a link to provide for it, perhaps someone else does.
