That's what TLAB is worried about. One Ascend GBX 550 ATM switch plus Ciena optic gear = no need for Sonet equipment. That eliminates LU and TLAB revenues big time. Oh yeh, Ascend does not make Sonet equipment.>> Agree. If Tlab deal blows up, hard to believe there aren't a coupla' players out there that would love to get Cien on the cheap.
