Yeltsin just nominated Primakov for head of government. That nomination is very likely to succeed. Could be a short-term positive today, but I guess that this piece of good news will be completely swamped by impeachment talk in Washington.

Phil,

I figure like this:

in the big move up Tuesday,

100 DOW points for interest lowering possibilities;
100 DOW points for SEA sickness relief - temporary;
100 DOW points for Clinton affairs or lack of news thereof;
and the rest DOW points for technical stuff.

The fact that Congress is ill-prepared to handle KS report leads me to believe that it will be later rather than sooner and less rather than more.
