It will be a nice job to include a matrix of 512K Bytes of SRAM(a 4Mb SRAM) on a die already containing a Pentium class microprocessor. Even with row and column storage matrix redundancy, and using .18 micron technology, the result will be a good-sized die that won't yield well. Don't let people who lack the intellect to operate an abacus(and who have no feeling for the real problems) deceive you with marketing hype. To go back four or five decades, "It ain't easy, McGee!" System on a chip is a lovely concept, but so was talk of an airplane in every garage after WWII. Where's the native skepticism, the "Show me, I'm from Missouri," perceptiveness that kept us from being a nation of sheep! Regards, Sam
