~~~~OT Starr Report~~~~~~~~
Since there would be no report to congress if there wasn't evidence of impeachable material it was appropriate for the spokesman for the Starr to say there was impeachable material in the report.
I do have a concern though. Starr warned that there is material that should not be released in the report. Congress is talking about making public all the material in the report. I think someone from congress should read the report, determine if elements should be held back, then release what is appropriate to the public.
I know congress wants to go public with everything but in this case they have been warned by Starr.
As for Clinton's lawyer asking for fair play and getting an early copy or Dem's asking for an early copy to go to Clinton's lawyer in the interest of fair play I fell on the floor! I guess only fair play applies to others.
I really liked the speed Starr got the report to congress. Clinton's lawyer's were caught by surprise as was congress. Clinton's people wanted Starr to get done and so he has.
Hopefully, congress can work thru this without a republican/demicrat ugly affair.
Pat
Mohan,
-OT-
You can talk about the appropriateness and relevance of Starr/Clinton to DELL Computer.... I can talk about the appropriateness of political discussion on the DELL thread.
Are you telling me that you are the moderator and I cannot say that. The French have an organization at the highest level which is saddled with the task of keeping the French Language pure and uncorrupted. Would you go that far to preserve the homeostasis of this thread. I would not presume to go that direction. You appear to stifle any negative comments.
You, who navigate SI in a very wide circle, know of many other threads specifically generated for a myriad of political/social/economic thought groups.
RW
PS. You still rank near the top as a stock/market Kahuna and commentator.
