Compaq Computer Corporation and Microsoft Corporation will host a conference call at 12:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Thursday, September 10, 1998, to announce joint technology initiatives to push the Windows NT Server operating system further into the enterprise. John T. Rose, Senior Vice President and Group General Manager, Enterprise Computing Group, at Compaq, and Paul Maritz, Group Vice President, Platforms and Applications, at Microsoft, will discuss these announcements, as well the implications for propelling Windows NT into a premier role in the enterprise data center.
