MileHigh,

All those hw designs seem to me targeted at new generations of nomadic objects, future of cellular phones, of hand-held PDA devices, car-based internet appliances, etc. All that INTC has been missing, thinking to much as a monopoly, based on "PC" paradigm. Its been so good moneywise in the past, why should "it" ever change ? TI is hooked with RMBS, that is a good sign for me.

*** OT1 *** My IBM VAR salesman told me this morning about a new IBM non-MSFT based OS system code-named Apache. I am not familiar with the name. Any hint in the thread ?

I still hope that MSFT (and RMBS) will be around after the coming rather bad times for the market. Some Titanic songs on the air today, after all those boxes full of documents on Monicagate shown on every CNN screen around the world (France CAC40 is down 3.80% right now)

*** OT2 *** abstract french personal question : why do media "lapidate" as religious integrists (not with stones, but they "kill" as well) so much ? because they gather a better audience ?? is not this threatening to democracy as we all care for it ?

Regards to all,

MiB

REH, so what's your take on the info. that you obtained? Are you still long RMBS, or do you think their technology will be outdated even though it gets into play?
