An interesting thought. This is a presidential scandal in which there is no doubt as to the identity of "deep throat".

Les, thanks for the site. It could be that the worm has turned. I still would rather not see impeachment brought through crimes surrounding sexual behavior.

I have found over my years, that many great people who've generally contributed much to society, have personal behavior patterns that defy reason. There was a local minister who led charities, devoted 18 hours a day to genuine public service for fifteen years. Then I had a talk with a woman who sought his help one evening on deciding a marriage. He made love to her on the floor of the meeting house. I confronted him on this and while looking into his eyes saw both sides of a complex person able to raise people's ambitions and able to sin. Was he an evil to his community, I don't think so... its simplistic to deny that all of us are intellectual, animal, spiritual, parental, rogue and villian in one person. Is that an excuse, no, just a fact of living we all live with across the planet, which different cultures manage in different ways.

Our system, our culture has thrived on diversity and tolerance. We know that all judgements of others come back to haunt us for better or worse.
