You know, every analyst I have ever spoken to when times get a bit tough claims that products are becoming "commodities". Coming from a farm state that produces lots of real commodities, the concept that computers are commodities is laughable. The author should be ashamed to make such a comment. If the "gentlemen" thinks that a computer that is still very complicated and undergoing major annual changes will soon be a commodity, I hate to see what he calls products such as soft drinks and soap. And sb, I hope after this quarter, when Gateway shows uncalculable EPS growth, blowing away last years third quarter by a mile, you will post it with as much fervor as you continue to do on last quarters 6% growth.
