Yes it will, but that is the question. I might part company from some of the ultra-bears here. I think the down cycle could be shorter this time around -- maybe only 1 1/2 to 2 years.

Hey Pete you forgot earnings warnings & Y2K disclosure on 3Q reports.

Anyone have a link to info as to the SEC is requiring companies to disclose their known Y2K impact in the 3Q reports? I had read that somewhere months ago & haven't seen if they made it a requirement.
Even companies that make their earnings may be taken out and shot on earnings announcement if they have to announce large Y2K costs.
