Here's some interesting reading off the Yahoo board... <- Previous Next -> Message 578 of 579 Reply off topic/off topic /off topic-dgiv stocksbuster11 (0/F/Columbus, OH) Sep 9 1998 10:03PM EDT hi, I was a bit surprised that with such news from russia, dgiv share price did not go up as I was expecting. several things come to mind as possible explanations; 1-there is no question the moscow and st.petersburg contracts are big "wins" for dgiv. those are probably the two biggest cities in russia. The revenue from these contracts will be very good in future quarters. At this time, however, the news did not give the price the expected bounce because it was a contract with RUSSIA, and you know what is going on with Russia right now in terms of investors'sentiment. So, for the company's fundamentals (in terms of future revenues), these are big deals, In the short term, anything with "russia" will probably not get the same attention from investors that it normally would have. 2-many investors are waiting for the official filing of the form 10sb before comitting big money to the stock. The company has publicly announced that the form 10sb will be done before the big expo. in New York City in 9/23-9/25, with NMSS to highlight the dgiv/nmss alliance. I suspect that after the form 10sb is filed, investors (small as well as institutional) will be coming in. 3-small caps (as well as large caps) are hurting in general right now, so many investors are now more cautious, wanting to make sure the market is OK before putting in more money into stocks. as I stated, with each announced contracts/alliances (by the way, there are more in the works), dgiv fundamentals get better and it is more undervalued at these price levels. Eventually, particularly after the 10sb is filed, investors will come to the stock. I am patiently waiting for that day. take care, all and good luck!
