Ellison's recent revelation on buying AAPL , not accurate , why NOW ? We know LE was "rumored to be interested in AAPL" at the same time ($16 - $19/shr) the Prince took a large position . LE's recent comment is about a different time (6/96) and may pertain to when SJ sold his shares @ 14 5/8ths to squeeze out Amelio . What is interesting is why this is a topic now ? Was it just a off the cuff remark of no relevance , or is LE looking to acquire shares of AAPL ? Like buying MSFT's ($16.50) shares of AAPL in face of the DOJ case next week ? Regards, Jim K.
