I think that IOM as well as many others ( at least 16-17 million )
have identified the 1.44 floppy drive as a non issue.
Some will expound the benefits of the
drive but in the real world the fact of the matter
is that they are getting used less and less.
Personally I can't tell you when the last time I've
used a 1.44 floppy.
IMO anyone building a USB 1.44 floppy will have
a hard time getting a return on their investment.
