Like I said before, if it makes you Osilongs feel better to think that I am losing big money on CIEN, then so be it. I want to help anyway I can...

"In $ terms it's more painful to watch CIEN plummet from ~ 92 TO ~ 16 with more room downhill than to watch FIBR waft down from ~19 to ~ 2."

Hmm $10k in CIEN at 92 would buy 108.697 shares, which would be worth $1729.1312 assuming someone was foolish enough to hold through a decline of that magnitude.

$10k in FIBR at 19 would buy 526.3158 shares, which would now be worth $1052.6316.

I'm not sure why you picked 19 for FIBR, vs CIEN's high. Perhaps you forgot to account for the 1:3 reverse split? FIBR's high is 61 1/2, and $10k at that price would buy you 162.6016 shares which would be worth $325.2032 at 2.

Of course not every position is a winner, but risk reduction demands divestiture when there are too many questions about a company's ability to deliver. This has only recently become aspparent with CIEN. It has been obvious for months with FIBR.
