Bernard was buying stock last week he said.

If public debt market would close to G*, Loral is totally committed. BS did not want to speak for the partners. 90 someodd % is done, the partners should be able to help out.

Soyuz question:

manifests have not been completed, given very warm assurance for March, April, May timeframe. 6 soyuz launches.

8 birds up in orbit now
originally wanted 8 in-orbit spares
originally 8 more on the ground to guarantee against the loss

Update on Korean partners - Dacom will continue to operate in Korea, and want to continue. Hyundai is getting out of all G* interest. looking for replacement in various territories. Better provider now, several well-known operators in that part of the world, better service provider than before.

Rich Steinberg

2000 revenue projection remains. There is not going to be market-share wars. I* users will not use G*, and vice versa.

The live broadcast, "misconnect" between a low level person. What does that mean, G* hotline said launch was successful, etc. What actually happened, no more confusion...

BS was in a remote center was monitoring the same thing as everyone else. Source was a Zenit employee who was reciting the performance of the rocket milestone by milestone. He was reading the nominal requirements, first 4 minutes he was reading "a script". Not reading actual telemetry, reading wrong piece of information. He thought the birds were sighted over Korea, he doesn't know where this report came from. Took about a half hour to realize this. CNN covered this thing correctly by at least 4:00am New York time, first real report at 2am.
