Call me crazy, but I think the market will turn around tomorrow. Hope so, getting killed on banks. Know MER has been a nightmare for you, thus far. But tomorrow may be the day ... if it's like last week, I wouldn't wait until just before the close since you may miss a good entry point.

Insofar as discount brokers ... Tim, I had/have Lombard and they have assured me they are adding on staff (in Utah) and that their service will be better. They cost me a lot(!) of money several times when I could not get into either their website, instatrade and/or live broker. I find I have better luck with NDB and you can do same side trades for one commission. I find that I sometimes buy something (like COMS) at 26 and then average down same down at 24 3/4 -- one commission.

I use MB Trade with Level II. It is very fast, staff is always available by phone. Only criticism is their accounting totals sometimes get delayed..which is not good. But Level II has certainly opened my eyes to a lot of info that wasn't there before. Real time charts with the program are also very helpful.
