Matt,

Don't get to excited<g>. To speculative to assume there
is a relationship between AT&T and COMS...even though something
was mentioned a few weeks ago...I can't remember the
details.

But, the contract could just be with LU. Since, LU is a
close kin to AT&T, and I think LU knows something about ATM
or will be buying a company that knows, then LU is a likely
suspect for AT&T contract.

I'm basically saying, we just don't know, so let's wait
and see. If COMS is getting their act together, without
doubt good contracts will come their way. I sure
wish we could tell what's being said in the Boston
conference.

Seeing as how ATT's biggest supplier is CSCO, why would they award a large contract to 3COM ?

Ascend will likely get the AT&T contract (or Cisco). They are the ATM kings (one in WAN and Cisco in LAN).
